Effective June 1, 2021, the City of Coldwater and Board of Public Utilities’ main office, located in the Henry L. Brown Municipal Building at 1 Grand Street, will reopen to the public. Although the City and CBPU building is reopening, they recommend only making necessary visits to their administrative offices. Guests will be required to follow the recommended CDC and MDHHS Covid-19 mask and social distancing guidelines. For guidance on service requests and utility bill payments, the City and CBPU made huge improvements to their website and online request portals this past year. Customers can now pay utility bills without a fee, start, stop, and change their services, apply for permits, and schedule large item pickups, all from the comfort of home. While the City of Coldwater and CBPU staff have been in full operation throughout the pandemic, they are looking forward to reopening their doors and safely seeing the citizens of Coldwater again. You can reach the City of Coldwater at (517) 279-9501 from 8 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday. The CBPU is available at (517) 279-9531.
