Since 2007, the City of Coldwater has been recognized as a Tree City by the Arbor Day Foundation. Tree Cities are communities that utilize "a four-step framework to maintain and grow their tree cover." The Tree City recognition is also a way for the City of Coldwater to demonstrate a commitment to the mission of environmental change.
