The City of Coldwater is an incorporated municipality located in southwest Michigan.  It is a growing community with its citizens committed to family, education and local government. The City of Coldwater has a council-manager form of government. The citizens elect the city council, who in turn hires the city manager.  The city manager is responsible for supervising and managing the entire City staff.  The city council appoints volunteers to seven boards and commissions.
