DMS

The Department of Municipal Services (DMS) is responsible for many of your City government operations.  This department maintains the city’s 60 miles of streets, including snow plowing, salting and repair work. 

 

During the fall leaf pickup season, leaves may be placed in the roadway in most areas, excluding Marshall Street, Division Street and East and West Chicago Street.  This is the only time anything is allowed to be placed in the roadway.

 

Updates on pickup schedules are reported on this website in Public Notices and through local media.
