Coldwater, Michigan. October 10, 2017 – October is National Fire Prevention Month. In recognition, the Coldwater Fire Department will be hosting a number of school programs to take station tours and get an in depth look at how the Coldwater Public Safety Departments operate. The Department will reach over 300 students and parents to spread valuable knowledge of public safety and fire prevention.
On Wednesday October 18, 2017 from 9:00am – 7:00pm the department is hosting an open house at the Public Safety Building located at 31 Division Street. Refreshments, building and apparatus tours, and demonstrations will take place. The Coldwater Fire Department reminds everyone that this is a good time to replace batteries in smoke detectors and check and service your home’s heating systems prior to the onset of cold weather.
