[ARCHIVED] Winter Fest 2021 Is Coming to Downtown Coldwater

Winter Fest

Visit historic Downtown Coldwater on Saturday, January 23rd, for our Winter Festival from 1-4 pm! Activities will include the following:

  • Outdoor Library kids' activities: The Library will be hosting kids' activities on the Library lawn, including snow volcanos and icy bubbles!
  • Snowman Building Contest: Downtown Coldwater will feature several handmade Snowmen created by local clubs/organizations/businesses/churches. The judging for the best Snowman will be public voting via Facebook, and the Snowmen will be displayed for the duration of the event, so come and have your voice heard.
  • Watch live wood carvings at the Four Corners: There will be 2 carvers working on their masterpieces during the event. Participate in "Takeout Tuesday" or "Downtown Deals of the Day" on Saturday for a chance to win one of the carvings.
  • Professional Juggling: Clark the Juggler will be performing many fun juggling acts during the event, including juggling with fire!
  • Takeout Tuesday on Saturday: This year, we have partnered with the Chamber to support our local restaurants. Similar to Takeout Tuesdays, turn in your receipt from a participating restaurant for a chance to win a wood carving that was created during the event. To qualify, text a picture of your receipt from Saturday, January 23rd to 260-438-3556 no later than midnight on Sunday, January 24th. A restaurant list will be provided at a later date, so stay tuned.
  • Downtown Deals of the Day: Participating businesses are running a one-day special Saturday, January 23rd. Purchase an item from any of the participating businesses and turn in your receipt to have a chance to win a wood carving that was created during the event. To qualify, text a picture of your receipt from Saturday, January 23rd to 260-438-3556 no later than midnight on Sunday, January 24th.
