Branch County is in the process of creating a Hazard Mitigation Plan and is requesting public input. The Hazard Mitigation Plan will be used by the county leaders to understand risks from natural hazards and develop long-term strategies to reduce the impacts of disasters on people, property, and the environment. 

The county is asking residents to review the draft document and provide comments regarding their thoughts. For the comments to be considered, they must be submitted by August 31, 2020.
