[ARCHIVED] 2018 Annual Holiday Decorating Contest Begins

2018 Holiday Contest

It’s that time of year again! Hang up the lights, put together your reindeer, blow up your inflatable Santa and take part in the annual Holiday Decoration Contest brought to you by the City of Coldwater and CBPU. Nominate your own house, neighbors, or any well decorated house in town by voting online at www.surveymonkey.com/r/2018LIGHTS by Wednesday, December 19th at noon.

Judging will take place anonymously after dark that Wednesday. Winners will then be announced for each of the following categories:

1. Most Creative Light Display

2. Best Special Effects/Interaction

3. Most Effective Use of Space

4. Overall Winner

The winner of each category will receive recognition on our social media pages, an award sign in their yard, and a cash gift certificate! Anyone that submits a vote will also be entered into a raffle to receive a prize giveaway.

Many homes in our community go above and beyond your typical decorative lighting. As always, we encourage everyone to take a drive through town and witness the hard work of many, in order to make this holiday season a little brighter and one to remember.
