[ARCHIVED] CBPU Celebrates Earth & Arbor Day With Students

CBPU Earth_Arbor Day

Last week members of the CBPU team traveled to Coldwater preschools to educate young students on the importance of Earth & Arbor Day. CBPU Energy Waste Reduction Manager, Bob Granger, gifted a Norway Spruce pine tree to each student so they could plant it in an area of their choosing. Students were given various goodies such as wristbands, coloring books, and hard hats to take home to spread the green CBPU spirit. The visit ended with the students decorating their own door hangers with plenty of stickers and markers. The door hangers all had the friendly reminder to 'turn off the lights' in an effort to remind kids and families that they too can do their part to save energy at their own homes.

The CBPU Simply Efficient program is always offering great rebates on appliances and excellent opportunities for customers to reap big savings on their home electric statements. Find out how by calling 517.279.9531 or by clicking HERE!
