To establish a new residential or business account, you must provide the CBPU Customer Service Department with the information requested here. The CBPU Customer Service Department is located at City Hall - 1 Grand Street, Coldwater, MI 49036.

Please note that you will need a copy of your lease or purchase agreement and identification.
CBPU customers can make payments by paying in person, mailing in their payment, using the City of Coldwater and the CBPU's dropbox, signing up for automatic bill pay, or making a payment online.

Contact the CBPU's office at (517) 279-9531. Please note that social media is not a reliable way to report an issue or have your urgent questions answered. Social platforms are not monitored 24/7.
In the event of a power outage, please call the CBPU office at (517) 279-9531 to report a service outage or downed power line. For any other emergencies, call 911.
However, please note that the CBPU may request that no more calls be made to the office to report an outage. Outages are generally noted in the AMI (Advanced Metering Infrastructure) system.
