Selected photos will be chosen based on their creativity, quality, and how well they represent the City. If our photo is selected to be highlighted, can you tag us in the social media post?
At this point in time, we can not tag you in our social media. This is because not all people who submit photos have an account on all of our social media platforms. We want to ensure that photo submission highlights remain fair and open to everyone, so only the name of the photograph and the photographer will be included. However, you are welcome to comment on the photo (on the social media platforms of your choosing) once it has been published.
Is there a deadline?
Photo submissions are accepted on a rolling basis. However, if you would like your photos to be considered for the 2025 City Calendar, then you should submit your photos no later than Monday, Oct. 21, 2024.
Where might I see my photo being used?
Submissions are reviewed by our Community Engagement Department and used for marketing material, including, but not limited to, social media, printed advertisements, website promotion, the city calendar, and more!
How will I know if my photo is used?
The Community Engagement Department tries to notify people that their image is being used for social media one day in advance. However, this is not always possible. People are encouraged to stay up-to-date with the City of Coldwater to keep a lookout for if your photo is used!
