During the COVID-19 Pandemic, the Coldwater Police Department will assist elderly patients who may not have transportation or who may be fearful of going out in public by picking up and delivering their prescription drugs for them. Patients that qualify need only contact their pharmacist and ask to be signed up for this service.
If a pharmacist is not certain if a particular address is within the City of Coldwater, they may call us at 278-4525 to verify the address.
The pharmacist should complete the tracking/inventory form to let us know the name, address, and phone number of the patient, and what we are delivering.
The officer will show the pharmacist their police ID, and will sign the tracking/inventory form to document that the officer has received the specified drugs. The officer will then deliver the prescriptions to the patient and have the patient sign the tracking/inventory form to document they have received their medicine.
Please call us before noon at 278-4525 to schedule the day’s deliveries. We will pick up the medications around 1 p.m. and take them to the patients.
