The Coldwater Police Department is a full-service agency, striving to be on the cutting edge of law enforcement and service, providing round the clock police protection. Today, tax dollars are tight and expectations are high as to the services expected from all police agencies to keep their communities safe. To make the most of your tax dollars we are constantly examining the way we deliver services in an effort to stabilize the cost of service to our citizens. We have a positive relationship within the community and with the Coldwater Community Schools and our goal is to continue to build on those relationships.

Mission


The mission of the Coldwater Police Department is to maintain order, preserve and protect the lives, peace and property of the citizens of Coldwater and to enforce the laws within the framework of the United States Constitution. The department and its individual members will work cooperatively with the public and your elected officials to provide a safe community and strive to enhance the quality of life for all citizens who reside in or visit Coldwater.

To sum it all up, the Coldwater Police Department is not only available to "Serve and Protect," we are poised to do it with honor, integrity and with the latest crime fighting and service technology available anywhere.
