Residential Rebates

The CBPU offers residential rebates on eligible purchases in the following categories: Appliances, Lighting, Heating & Cooling, and Pool Pumps.

However, make sure to check the specifications listed in the Residential Rebate application below and/or speak with a CBPU advisor by calling (517) 279-9531 to make sure your project is eligible for CBPU incentives. All equipment must be new and installed or operated in a residential dwelling, whose electric service is provided by the Coldwater Board of Public Utilities.

Business Rebates

The CBPU offers commercial and industrial rebates on commercial and industrial lighting because lighting accounts for over 30% of electric utility billing each year for most businesses. Using our energy rebate programs to upgrade to efficient lighting will help reduce your energy usage, which will in turn drastically reduce your bottom line.

No matter what size your business is, make the initial investment to reduce your ongoing energy use and significantly save year after year.
